NOTICE -October 1st, 2025

Due to the ongoing drought and unusually dry conditions in our area, some temporary restrictions have been put into place to ensure the safety and preservation of our property and local environment:

Fire Restrictions: Fires in our permanent fire pits are allowed (Bring your own wood). Please don't leave them unattended and be sure to extinguish the fire with the blue water jug that is next to the fire pit when you're finished. The use of charcoal grills are prohibited until further notice. Our gas grills and other devices using pressurized liquid or gas fuels (stoves, grills, or lanterns) with a shut-off valve are allowed when used at least 3 feet from flammable material.
Lake & Water Activities: Both our lake and the nearby Baker Reservoir are at lower-than-usual levels due to the ongoing dry weather. Despite this, all water activities remain available as usual, and we encourage guests to enjoy them responsibly.

We appreciate your patience as we navigate these conditions, and we’re committed to ensuring everyone has a safe and enjoyable visit. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

AT THE RANCH

Stay and play! Whether you are in our luxury cabins, or glamping, stay and have fun exploring all that Holmstead Ranch Resort has to offer! There are so many fun things to do right here - we have adventure covered:

Sand Beach (Please no deep digging or staking anything into the sand)
Catch and Release Fishing (bring your own gear)

Ranch Animals (Please do not feed them or enter corrals)
Campfires in our Firepits (bring your own wood)

Due to state restrictions, fires may be prohibited on the property. Please check with the office before using the fire pits or charcoal grills.

*NO FIREWORKS of any sort (sparklers & pop-its included) are allowed on property. They are illegal in our area.

NEARBY ATTRACTIONS

The Holmstead Ranch Resort is located in Southern Utah, 20 miles outside of St. George. We are a short drive to many other Southern Utah destinations and attractions. Some of the best golfing, hiking and fishing are just minutes away. Be sure to check what's playing at the Tuacahn Amphitheater during your stay, and enjoy a concert or Broadway show under the stars!
